PET OF THE WEEK *YUBA COUNTY* (DJ)

DJ is about a 3 yr old boy who was surrendered due to a family move.His former owner was a 13 yr old girl who took him for walks on a harness and pampered and spoiled him. He is microchipped in her name still but that can be easily changed. He never went outside other than on a leash and when he came to me he was a very unhappy and scared cat. Never having been socialized to strange people or other cats, he was very traumatized by the move here and it took me months to get him calmed down and to trust me enough to allow a pet or two.He is a very handsome boy, is mellow and has learned to co exist with other cats fairly well. So I feel like he is ready to try a new home.He MUST remain an indoor cat as he has never been exposed to any of the dangers of being outdoors including dogs, traffic, etc..He is UTD on Vaccines, and rabies...and is very healthy and robust...
